Born on June 7, 1990, Amethyst Amelia Kelly turned out to be an Australian rapper, songwriter, and model. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Iggy Azalea moved to the United States at sixteen in order to pursue her music career. Once her music videos for the songs “Pussy” and “Two Times” were posted on YouTube, she attracted a lot of public notice. These early triumphs helped her to create her 2011 debut mixtape, Ignorant Art. Not too long after, Azalea secured a music deal with Grand Hustle, the American rapper T.I. started company.

Iggy Azalea was born on June 7, 1990, in Sydney, Australia. Iggy Azalea hails from a multiracial background. Her mother, Tania Kelly, is of British origin and was a full-time homemaker. Her father, Brendan Kelly, is Irish and immigrated to Australia when Azalea was two years old. He has worked at various jobs, majorly as a painter and a bricklayer. In 2015, she was on and off with NBA star Nick Young, but the two broke up in 2016 after his infidelity on tape was released.
